In July, 2009, I had the opportunity to travel on one of the world’s largest and most luxurious cruise ships – The Queen Mary 2. (Also known as the “QM2″.) This picture shows what guests see shortly after they board, although I actually took this picture during the early morning hours of the last day of the cruise. Had I not waited until 2am on the last day to take this shot, it would be almost impossible
During a 5-day cruise that I took on the Queen Mary 2, I stopped one day in Halifax, Novia Scotia. I decided to go on a morning/afternoon tour of Peggy’s Cove. Based on what I had read about Peggy’s Cove, I knew it would provide for some great photographs.
My excursion began around 9am at the ports in Halifax. When I boarded the tour bus, it was a very gloomy
In September or October of 2009, I traveled to Las Vegas to attend “PubCon”, an Internet Marketing conference. This was at a time when I had just started really getting interested in HDR Photography. So, during my free time, I toured around the town and took as many photos as possible.
This is a photograph of a motorcycle that was on display inside
Back in September, 2010, I traveled to Fripp Island, South Carolina on a business trip with my friend Rick Shearer and previous business partner, Jerry West. We stayed in a gorgeous 3 bedroom house that was practically right on the beach. On this particular night, the sunset we witnessed was absolutely stunning.
This sunset photo was taken about 100 yards away from the house we were staying at. Rick, Jerry, and myself had just gotten into the golf cart
Most people have seen plenty of images of Saint Paul’s Cathedral, but hopefully this one is completely different than anything you’ve ever seen.
One evening, while walking around the streets of London with Trey & Tina Ratcliff, we rushed over to this church to try and capture some interior shots. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the doors were locked and we were only able to get photos of the exterior. It was a chilly, rainy night, and I rushed around the property taking snapshots from all different perspectives. Look for more of these photos as I continue to process them. Once completed, you’ll be able to view them in the London HDR Photos Gallery.
I must say I’m particularly proud of this image. Not just because I think it turned out beautiful, but because of the story behind how I captured it. I had actually envisioned this type of shot before I even ventured to Stowe and captured it.
I’m originally from upstate New York and then lived in Vermont all throughout high school. I’ve been living in the Savannah, Georgia area for the past 20 plus years and Christmas in the South has never felt like Christmas to me. I miss seeing the snow-covered roads and rooftops, the crisp cold air that freezes
This is one of my favorite shots I took during my travels to London. I took this during Trey Ratcliff’s London photo walk. Since I was already spending a lot of time with Trey, I ventured around on my own during the photo walk so that his fans had plenty of one-on-one time with him. I was fortunate to have done this because
This Summer I had the privilege of traveling to London to assist my good friend, Trey Ratcliff, with an hdr workshop. Trey’s hdr abilities are absolutely amazing, and getting to spend several days with him in London was such a blast.
On a Friday evening, Trey held a photo walk for fans of his from the London area. It started promptly at 6:30pm and as Trey, his wife and I approached the meeting place, we could see a large crowd of people in the
