The fountain in this photo is named “Friendship Fountain” and is located in Jacksonville, Florida. I was there last week to host my very first PhotoWalk. There were roughly 12-15 people who showed up, which was a perfectly acceptable amount for me. :)

I hadn’t previously mentioned this on my blog, but I was asked by SmugMug to travel around the country and give presentations to the “SMUGs Meetups” that they sponsor. Never heard of one of these? If you’re into photography, it’s worth checking to see if there is one of these groups near your town. To summarize, these are local clubs which usually meet monthly and offer a variety of learning materials and presentations to help you with skills and techniques related to photography.
